I was immediately drawn to Brian Froud’s Faerie Oracle cards when I found them in a local bookstore nearly ten years ago. Besides the evocative, beautiful artwork that Froud is world-renowned for, I love the underlying message the cards teach. By looking at the cards from different angles, you might see that the faces of the faeries can change from ugly to pretty, scary to comforting, or vice-versa. The reminder, of course, is that sometimes we need to simply shift our perception when dealing with an obstacle in our lives and look at people or situations from different angles and see what they show us. It can be a humbling and uplifting practice!
